Who this is

Verba is a product of SnxwFairies Innovations Private Limited ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Verba web, iOS and Android apps and explains what we collect from you, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account details you give us at sign-up (name, email, organization); the audio, speech and text you submit for translation, transcription or interpretation; usage data such as minutes used against your plan's quota; and, if you pay for a plan, billing information handled by our payment processor (we do not store your full card details ourselves).

Audio, translation and third-party AI providers

To produce a live translation, transcript or summary, the audio and text you submit is sent to the AI and speech-recognition providers Verba integrates with (currently Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini and Deepgram) solely to generate the output you asked for. Each provider processes that content under its own terms; we do not sell it to anyone.

Why we collect it

To provide the interpretation, meetings, glossary and dialer features you use; to enforce your plan's quota and to bill you if you're on a paid plan; to keep the account secure (sign-in, MFA, the audit trail); and to answer you when you contact support.

Where it is stored

Account and application data lives in a PostgreSQL database we operate (hosted in the ap-southeast-1 region). Sensitive fields — such as MFA secrets, phone numbers and stored API keys — are encrypted before they reach the database, and administrative actions are recorded in a tamper-evident audit log.

Cookies and analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless service, where it is enabled; it sets no cookies or builds a cross-site profile of you. We do not use Google Analytics or ad-tracking pixels.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, correct it, or erase it. You can delete your own account and its personal data at any time from Settings; we keep only what the law or legitimate security needs require us to (for example, the audit log entries for actions already taken on your account).

Grievance redressal

For any privacy question, correction request, or complaint, contact us at [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge every request within a reasonable time and resolve it as required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if what we collect or why changes, and update the date below when we do. We won't reduce your rights under this policy without telling you.
